HOW IT WORKS
HOUSTON TEXTILE COLLECTION SERVICES
Unlike other textile recycling businesses, North American Recycled Clothing utilizes a simplified, transparent collection process. Our donation transportation routes help our partners save on shipping and transportation costs while conserving energy and resources.
TEXTILE DONATIONS
It all starts with you. As you donate your used clothing, shoes, and home goods to your favorite nonprofit organizations, they sort and contain useful items for pickup.
COLLECTION TRANSPORTATION
Our partners schedule donation pickups with us. We complete our routes multiple times per month to ensure donation items remain fresh.
COMMUNITY INVESTMENT
We return the thousands of dollars in profit generated by our textile recycling service to our nonprofit partners and invest in the Houston community.

Our process guides our partner organizations on sorting the donations they receive among specified “tiers.” Textiles are received, sorted and grated into two tiers:
- The lower tier donations are recycled into rags and similar material for industrial use.
- The higher tier donations are sold to 3rd world communities across the globe, stimulating a bustling job market.
